Todd Wilson, Principal
Todd Wilson graduated from Rantoul Township High School in 1990. He attended Parkland College for a year and joined the Army in June of 1991. Mr. Wilson spent eight years in the Army being stationed at Ft. Drum New York, and Ft. Campbell Kentucky. During his time in the military he held many positions including,flight operations specialist, safety NCO, MEDEVAC operations supervisor, section leader, operations manager, and movements officer. Upon returning home, Mr. Wilson served as a group leader at a residential facility for young men ages 13-18. It was during this time Mr. Wilson returned to school to eventually become an educator after graduating with honors from Eastern Illinois University in 2004.After graduation, Mr. Wilson began his career in education as an elementary teacher in the Champaign Unit 4 School District. In 2007, the opportunity to become Dean of Students at Rantoul Township presented itself to Mr. Wilson. He served as both Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal until March of 2011 when he was given the opportunity to serve as principal of Rantoul Township High School. Mr. Wilson often says he is honored to be able to serve the same community he was brought up in. In addition to his Bachelor's degree, Mr. Wilson holds both a Masters and Specialist in Education Administration From Eastern Illinois University.
Mr. Wilson married his high school sweetheart Tammy Wilson in December of 1992. They live in Thomasboro and have two girls, one boy, a grandson and a granddaughter.
