Drama Club
Club Description: The Drama Club is a place for students who are interested in theatre and performing. Every year we put on a Fall Play and a Spring Musical. We take a group of students to Theatrefest each year, a gathering of theatre departments and students from all across Illinois.
Our shows spotlight character and give the students an opportunity to do the kinds of shows that aren't often done at high schools, especially improvisation. We've done long-form improvised shows and full-length Commedia dell'arte shows, which is an improvised Italian form of theatre where the cast develops a script in rehearsals.
