Amazing Book Club
Club Description: Book Clubs meet once every other week in a safe setting to allow readers the opportunity to discuss books in an informal setting. Students enjoy the experience by talking with friends and teachers, reading and discussing books together, as a whole or small group. All meetings are supervised and are led by the librarian at RTHS, and supported by additional teachers. Students are able to increase their comprehension and ability to discuss what they know. It is a great opportunity to turn reading into a social activity which encourages our students here at RTHS to continue reading for pleasure and meaning.
Book Club Options: Currently, there is a Realistic Fiction book club, a Mystery/Horror book club, and a Fantasy/Dystopian book club. Interested students can join one or more of these clubs.
